China Glaze Grape Crush vs Precision Twilight

Goodmorning!

Happy Queensday for all my dutch readers! Unfortunately I have to work all day.

And since you´ll be seeing a lot of orange today on dutch nail blogs, I decided to do something else (also because I just don´t own any orange polish, because I really dislike it)

Yes, it´s time for another comparison. I showed you Grape Crush a few days ago. And I´ve also showed you Precision Twilight a while ago. I got Twilight from Cat and she said it was really close to Grape Crush. So of course I was really happy with it!! And now I own both, so I can make a comparison.

They are both purple and both have holographic microglitter. I used 3 coats of each of them and application was just fine on both.

Index + ring = Twilight
Middle + pinkie = Grape Crush

As you can see they are not dupes, but they are really close. Grape Crush is a little more blue toned. But for the girls who can´t get their hands on Grape Crush I think Twilight would be a nice substitute. Just google it, I think it´s not difficult to find an online store that sells them.

Enjoy your day!

Picture Polish Sparkle

Hi ladies!

I showed you the Ozotic Elytra collection yesterday and I told you I bought them at Picture Polish. Well, Picture Polish actually have their own line of polishes too. A while ago I saw a swatch of Picture Polish Sparkle at another blog and was quite impressed by it. So since I was ordering from Picture Polish anyway, I decided this would be the one I should definitely try.

Sparkle is a silver polish with some sort of pearl finish (which makes it a bit streaky) with lots of multicolored glitter. You mostly see the blue glitter in my pics, but really, there are a lot of colors.

I used 2 coats, which was fine, but definitely not enough for the pictures, ooops... should have done a 3rd coat. Application was good. I expected the glitter to disappear in the base, but it didn´t, nice!

Bottle

And nail pics.

Do you like it? I really do! I don´t own anything like it and I don´t think I´ve ever seen anything like it, so that makes it unique.

Thanks for watching!

Ozotic Elytra

Hello!

Today I´m showing you 2 of the 3 from the new Ozotic collection called Elytra. This is one awesome collection!! I think I´m save to say this is the most awesome collection released this year while it´s only april. I´m quite sure no other brand will make a more stunning collection this year.

The Elytra collection exists of 3 duochrome glitter polishes. Yes, that´s right, duochrome glitter!! Can you believe it? Just apply 2 coats of it over a plain black polish and you´ll be amazed by these gorgeous polishes.

The ones I´m showing today are 528 and 529. Since I couldn´t decide which one to wear first, I decided to do 2 of them. I used Zoya Raven as my base.

Bottle shots!

And now lots of pics of these pretties on the nail.

Index and ring = Ozotic 528
Middle and pinkie = Ozotic 529

To get an even better look at these beauties you should really click to enlarge.

Aren´t they amazing? 528 shifts from green, to pink, purple and blue, even some orange. 529 shifts from blue, to pink, purple and orange.
I actually already own quite a few of their multichromes, but this really is unique.

I bought mine at Picture Polish. They are in Australia. The ladies from Picture Polish are so extremely friendly!! Very good customer service! Thanks ladies! Shipping took about a week, so that´s quite fast since they have to travel all the way from Australia.

Of course I´ll show you Ozotic Elytra 530 soon as well.

Have a nice day!

Finally! It´s mine!

Goodmorning ladies!

Last week I got an email on MUA from a lady that wanted to do a swap and offered me China Glaze Grape Crush. OMG!! Was it really finally going to be mine?? Yes!! And guess what, the friendly lady send it to me the next day and it arrived last friday. Thank you so much Laura!! This was actually one polish I thought I would never own.

So of course I used it right away :D
I applied 3 coats and it went on very easy. Love this color! It´s a dark purple with holographic microglitter.

First a bottle pic

You see how awesome this is?

Now on to the nail pics.

It´s really hard to capture the micro glitter on camera, but trust me, it really sparkles in the sun.

I still can´t believe it´s mine after all this time. Thanks again Laura.

And thank all of you for stopping by!

Zoya Apple vs. Zoya Ivanka

Hi ladies!

Of course I know and can see from the bottle that Apple and Ivanka are not dupes. But I just wanted to show you how different they actually are. And of course if you don´t want to buy both of them this might make it easier to decide which one suits you best.

As I told before Apple is really sheer, so for this comparison I even used 4 coats. For Ivanka I used 3.

Just let the pictures do the talking.

In real life there is much more gold sparkle in them but most cameras freak out when they see glitter, haha.

Index and ring = Apple
Middle and pinkie = Ivanka

Which of these 2 is your favorite? I can´t decide and love having both of them :-)

Have a great day!

Zoya Faye

Goodmorning!

So last night I didn't have a lot to do at work so I decided I was going to change my blogtheme. Well, as you can see, I miserably failed!! At first it was even worse than how it is right now, so I decided to put back the classic theme and start over again. But then I just didn't have time again. And since I'm really not good with all this stuff, I'm afraid it will never be back the way it was. I'm a little freaked out right now and I hope I'll figure it out somehow, but I'm afraid it's just all gone *cries a little*.

Well, on to the polish. Another one from Zoya´s new collection. Faye is just amazing! It´s some sort of lilac, pink, mauve shade with lots of gold glitter. And I don´t think I´ve ever seen anything like it before.

This was also a bit sheer, just like Apple from the same collection, but with 3 coats opaque enough to wear. Application was good as always.

Sorry for the tipwear, but I had to do a lot of typing before I was shooting pictures.
So much glitter, but of course my camera freaked out. Well, you will just have to trust me on that one :-)

The lilac undertones you can mostly see in other angles, but I forgot to photograph that part, ooopss...

Thanks for watching!

Essence Image Plate

Happy Easter!

Today I want to show you one of the Essence image plates. I've only got 2 of them which are both full nail images.

I used the black konad polish and put it over Funky Fingers Golden Coast.

As you can see on my index finger, it is a bit tricky to catch the stamp. I had to press harder than I usely do. But besides that it is just fine for the price you pay for it (don't exactly remember how much it was, but it was cheap)

Thanks for watching and enjoy your day!

Zoya Apple

Hello!

Today I've got one of the new Zoya´s for you. It´s bright, it´s sunny, it´s shiny, it´s totally summer. Apple is like its name apple green with lots and lots of golden glitter. Pretty!

Application was no problem at all, Zoya is always good. But it is really really really sheer. I used 3 coats and there is still very visible nail line.

You see how the color is different in different light?
I think this is a pretty amazing polish and I love it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Nubar Lavender

Hi ladies!

Todays polish is my NOTD from last monday. Nubar Lavender is a light lilac creme. Can you believe that I actually wore a pastel creme for a whole day without adding glitter, flakies or any other sort of shimmer on top? Well, it is true. I was actually in the mood for something soft. And this totally screams spring too.

Application was great! 1 thick coat and a topcoat and that´s it. The brush is also perfect, I didn´t need any clean up. Love Nubar!

Somehow you do see quite some flaws in the pictures. I hadn´t noticed them irl at all. Well, you just have to believe me on that one :-)

Funky Fingers Golden Coast

Goodmorning!

You probably all know by now that Funky Fingers is from the same company as Color Club, Cosmetic Arts and Massini/Studio M. And that all these brands make quite a few dupes, sometimes even with the same name. But the one I´m showing you today I haven´t seen on any of the other brands mentioned.

Funky Fingers Golden Coast is a gold and holographic glitter in a clear base. This of course makes it difficult to make it completely opaque. What I love about this one compared to other gold glitter is that it is not too yellow. I like my golds that way! And that´s also why I swapped ChG Medallion away, too yellow and also too large glitter.

This is 3 coats. Probably you need about 5 to get it completely opaque, but I was satisfied with 3. Like all glitter polishes it dried fast. Application was fine too.

My camera freaked out a little because of all the glitter and holo going on.

You like it? Pretty stunning right? Wearing this makes me put a smile on my face.

Thanks for watching!

Blue glitter jelly + flakies = awesome!

Hello ladies!

A few days ago I showed you Blue Sapphire by Sephora. After a day I decided I really needed some flakies. Since I hadn´t used them in quite a while, it was about time use one again. I was doubting between a green/blue flakie and a orange/yellow/green flakie. Well, I just love the orange/yellow/green ones, so I decided to use Nfu Oh 38.

Here are the results

Wow, how awesome is it that you can still see the glitter between the flakies?! Great combo in my opinion! Will have to do this with other jelly with glitter polishes soon too.

Thanks for watching!

All my purple/lilac holos

Goodmorning!

Last week I showed you Teeez Outta Control and promised you a comparison of all my purple holos. The problem is that I just don´t have 12 fingers and I do have 12 purple and lilac holos. So I decided it was best to just use a wheel.

Left to right: OPI ds Diamond, Nfu Oh 64, OPI ds Divine JP, OPI Sand-erella, China Glaze IDK, OPI ds Original, Teeez Outta Control, China Glaze LOL, Ozotic 624, Color Club Wild at Heart, Ozotic 513, OPI ds Extravagance

I would definitely recommend to enlarge all the pictures because they are just awesome!

As you can see they are all different shades and different kind of holos. Some are prismatic and some are linear and Ozotic 624 is more of a holo glitter. I can´t really decide which one I like most, but my 4 favorites are Outta Control, Wild At Heart, DS Original and Ozotic 513.

What´s your favorite purple holo? And should I try to get China Glaze Octa-gone Wild and Nubar Treasure? I´ve been doubting about these 2 for ages... And are there any more purple holos I should definitely try to get?

Hope enjoyed this comparison/wheel swatch thing-y. Till tomorrow!
