Zoya Yara

Hello everyone!

Today I´ve got Zoya Yara for you. This and Neeka are the only I got from the Zoya fall collection. I love those strange colors with gold glitter!

Yara is an olive green with gold glitter. Pretty! Application was smooth as always with Zoya polishes. I used 2 coats and it dried quite fast.

Great color, don´t you agree? And quite unique I think.

Sorry for the tipwear. It seems I only show you crappy manicures lately. It´s just that I have a lot of things on my mind and I´m really busy. Maybe I should be blogging in between all this, but I just love doing it. So I promise as soon as I have a bit more time, I will show you better manicures again.

Thanks for stopping by!

Milani Blue Lightening

Hello!

Today the first of my holiday haul: Milani Blue Lightening. It definitely looks like OPI ds Magic (and its dupes). It has that same shade of blue and the slight purple duochrome. This does seem to have more glitter which makes it gorgeous in the sun.

Application was great! I didn´t bring any stuff with me on holiday to do a clean up, but with the small brush and great formula it was really easy to apply it almost perfect. And only 2 coats needed to make it opaque. I didn´t make nail pictures during my vacation, so the pics shown here are after 5 (maybe even 6) days of wear. And I must say: wow! I mean, yes, there is some tipwear, but still no chips at all.

I also tried some layering with another pretty I bought in Miami: Confetti Ice Ice Baby. It´s blue/green duochrome glitter. I should have known that doesn´t really come alive on blue polish...

Well, here are shots of that, but it´s not as awesome as I hoped. Probably on another color it would be awesome.

Another great thing about Blue Lightening: it doesn´t stain. Since I didn´t bring basecoat on my holiday I decided to paint my nails without. And with blue that´s a risk. But when I removed it after all those days, no smurf fingers. Maybe it´s my Zoya Remove+, because I haven´t had any staining since I started using that, but still.

Thanks for watching!

Nfu Oh 69: The prettiest blue foil

Hi ladies!

Today a polish I´ve showed you a few times before. But I was just in the mood for this one. And I was in a hurry too and this one only needs 2 coats and dries fast.

It´s an ice-blue kind of color and it´s a foil. I like foils a lot! Application is good. And the bottle shape of Nfu Oh is just gorgeous!

In real life the color is a little more ice blue than what´s shown in the pics.
Sorry this is such a short post, but there just isn´t much to say about this polish. It´s just very cool!

Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday shopping, BIG TIME!

Hi ladies!

I´ve been home now for a few days and what an amazing holiday it was! I loved Miami, I loved the Bahamas and I loved the cruise ship. And of course I did "some" shopping. I´ve read about all these stores in the US that lots of you ladies visit frequently. For me it was awesome! Walking right into Ulta while up till then I had only read about it. And Walgreens, Forever21, CVS, Ross, Icing, Del Sol and more. Just seeing all these great brands that I love displayed right in front of me. Some stores I haven´t found unfortunately (like Sally´s, Target, Walmart, Rite Aid) but I did some big time hauling. I tried only picking the ones that I had on my wishlist but I failed miserably. Bought a total of 31 polishes and 2 of the newest Konad plates, ooooppsss!

So here we go, this is what I got.

Butter London No More Waity Kaitie + remover

Color Club Back To Boho set (yes, the cheap 8 dollar sets are really sold at Ross)
Boho Mojo, Nouveau Vintage, Voodoo You Do, Artsy Crafty, Blue-topia, Rebel Spirit

Icing: Chrome Navy Blue, Irish Gold, Epic Winning, Vampire Blood, Witches Brew, Starlight

Orly Fowl Play, Orly Nite Owl, Orly Out Of This World, Zoya Neeka, Zoya Yara, OPI It´s My Year, OPI ds Top Coat

Sinful Colors Let Me Go, Wet ´n Wild Back Alley Deals, Wet ´n Wild Teal Of Fortune, Piggy Polish The Right To Bare Feet, Milani Blue Lightening

Nicole Me + Blue, Sally Hansen Icequeen, L`oreal Owl´s Night, Confetti Ice Ice Baby, Love & Beauty Shimmering Grey

M84 and M85

Besides all these brands I´ve seen many more and mostly at places I didn´t expect them.

The Piggy Polish is unlabled, so I´m not sure it´s the right name... I actually found another one that looks a lot like it.

So what do you think ladies? Ready to see swatches? I´ve already used No More Waity Kaitie while I was on holiday. And OMG, the worst application ever!! Did I get a bad bottle or did you guys experience it too? I can´t even describe all the problems I had. I really hope some thinner would do the trick. I haven´t even made pictures of it.
I also used Blue Lightening, which I think is pretty close to OPI ds Magic. Will make a comparison some day. I did take pictures of this, so you´ll see that one soon.

Thanks for visiting!

OPI ds Temptation

Hi ladies!

OPI has released 2 new shades for the Designer Series, Bold and Temptation. Bold wasn´t all that interesting in my opinion and also turned out to be a dupe for the much cheaper China Glaze Mrs Claus. So I didn´t get it. Of course as a purple addict I did get Temptation. Gorgeous color! But why is it in the Designer Series? I don´t get it. Just like the last releases like DS Magic.

Anyway, I love this polish! Finished it looks like purple. But guess what, the base is sheer navy blue. You can see that very well when you apply the first coat. It just has lots of purple glitter which makes it look purple. And it also has quite some multicolored glitter. Unique? I don´t know, but definitely unique in my stash.

3 coats in the pictures. Application was good.

Drool!!! Or maybe that´s just me :P

It´s much more beautiful and looks a lot less blue in real life. I tried my best by showing you more pics than usual, but still it doesn´t really look like the real thing.

What do you think? Worth spending the extras money?

Thanks for watching!!

Bloom Bianca + stamping

Hi there!

Today a quick one. 2 weeks ago I showed you Bloom Bianca and today it´s back with a konad on top. I used China Glaze Cherish and plate BM-201.

I like how these colors combine. And I love this pattern! You will be seeing this again on my blog, I´m sure.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sephora Deep In Her Eyes

Hello you guys!

A few days ago I showed you bottle spam of a my Sephora haul. Today it´s time for swatch number 2. When I saw this bottle in Sephora, I was like: wow, it´s blue with green glitter, awesome! But the light in Sephora is very misleading. The green glitter is hardly there at all. Maybe when you enlarge the pics you can still see it.

The blue is quite a nice blue though and it dried like crazy. In fact, it dried so fast, I was afraid it would turn out to be a matte polish, but it´s not. It´s not shiny either, but topcoat can always be used, which I didn´t do in these swatches.

I enlarged this for you hoping the green glitter would pop up, but no...

What do you think of this color?

Enjoy your day!

OPI Pros & Bronze

Hello!

Todays color is a bit weird. Well, it looks weird on me. When I saw this one on other blogs I just had to have it. So recently I used it and it just didn´t look good on me. No idea if it´s just my skintone or if it´s just me not liking the colors used in this polish, I really don´t know.

This polish is bronze (which looks orange), pink and in heavy sunlight you can see some other (very small) multicolored glitter too. The finish is sort of a foil. And it´s sheer. I used 3 coats and I could still see through my nails when I hold them up into the light.

Here it is: OPI Pros & Bronze

So what do you think about this color? You like it? I think it gives me lobster hands, yuk.

Thanks for stopping by!

OPI ds Glamour vs Glitter Gal Marine Blue

Hi dear readers!

Today a comparison of 2 very beautiful polishes. I know many girls buy Glitter Gal Marine Blue because it´s very difficult finding OPI ds Glamour. I´m very lucky to own both.

Glamour in my opinion is more of a jeans blue, while Marine Blue is a lot brighter. They are both very pretty, but for me, nothing can beat Glamour.

index and ring = 2 coats of Glitter Gal Marine Blue
middle and pinkie = 2 coats of OPI ds Glamour

As you can see Glamour is more holo than Marine Blue. Another win for Glamour.

Which one do you prefer?

I still think the Glitter Gal polishes way overpriced. But then again, they do make great holos in a huge variety of shades.

Enjoy your day and thanks for watching!

Sephora Moody Woman

Hello!

Today I´ll show you the first of the Sephora polishes I recently bought. When I looked at the bottle it gave me sort of a Peridot feeling. Except this one doesn´t have much gold. It actually has the same colors, but in a different order, haha, if you know what I mean.
Besides the Peridot feeling I got, it also reminded me of Bloom Bianca which I showed you last week. Although I´m sure I like this one a lot better.

I used 2 coats and the application was very good.

Maybe you should click the pics to see the gold in the first one. It´s hard to capture, but in some angles it´s definitely there.

What do you think of this shade? Pretty nice, right?

Thank you for visiting my blog and have a great day!

Sephora polishes

Hi ladies!

Tomorrow I will finally be going on holiday. Yay!! First I´ll go to Miami Beach for a few days and after that 5 days on a cruise to the Bahamas. I´ve got some posts planned, so there will be new stuff to look at every other day. Unless something goes wrong with blogger, which I can´t fix since I´m not home.

So, back to business: nail polish. 2 weeks ago there was a 3 for 10 euro sale at Sephora. Not only on nail polish, but also on make up. Since I already have the eye shadows I like from Sephora and I don´t wear any other make up, I chose 3 polishes. What a surprise :P

From left to right: Midnight Crawl, Moody Woman, Deep In Her Eyes

I must admit that the regular price is quite high on these. 5,80 euro for just one small bottle. Brush and application are great though, so that makes up for the high price.

Very soon I will show you swatches of these polishes.

Thanks for watching!

OPI ds Glamour

Hello!

Yes, it´s time again for my favorite blue nail polish!! This is just stunning! I love it!

OPI ds Glamour is a very hard to find polish which I know lots of ladies would love to own. Prices on eBay are crazy. I was lucky enough to find this on eBay a year and a half for only $10 including shipping. The color is just such a beautiful blue and the holo is gorgeous. Unfortunately topcoat dulls the holo a bit, so I should get the DS topcoat soon. Maybe other recs for a good topcoat that doesn´t dull holos?

I used only 2 coats. And application was flawless. I didn´t need any clean up.

Maybe you should enlarge the pics to get an even better look at this awesome polish.

Soon I´ll show you a comparison with Glitter Gal Marine Blue, which is brighter.

Thanks for stopping by!

Bloom Bianca

Hello all!

Today I´m showing you Bloom Bianca. I think I´ve shown you this before. Very pretty color! It´s a blue kind of green with a gold shimmer in some lights. I´ve heard this is similar to NYX Jungle, but I think Jungle has more gold, so I might have to get that some day.

This is 2 coats. It went on smooth and easy. Drying time was average.

The gold flash of course was impossible to capture. But I guess you have to trust me on that one.

Bloom is an australian brand, so you might have to arrange a swap for it if you really want this.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Finger Paints Icy Iris + Golden Rose 02

Hello ladies!

Today I´ve got a combo that I´m pretty thrilled about. I´ve shown both of them before, but together they are even more awesome.

My base color is Finger Paints Icy Iris which is a very dark purple with crazy shimmer. It glows! I used 2 coats and application was easy. For the flakies I used Golden Rose 02, which is my favorite clear base flakie. Why? Well, because this has something that Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure, Gosh Rainbow, Nubar 2010 don´t have, blue. So it has the gold/yellow/green/orange/red multichrome flakies AND blue flakies. Awesome!

So here are my pics.

I really love this. How about you? Aren't flakies the best way of spicing up a mani? Especially this one.

Enjoy your day!

Comparison time! Green shimmer/glitters

Hello!

Today I´m doing some comparisons with my green shimmer/glitter polishes that seem similar.

Recently I bought the SpaRitual Love Your Planet Duo and also some of the Tony Moly glitters, including the green one, GT04. Looking at them when they arrived I was thinking how they do seem similar to other greens I have. Oops, I did it again? Well, let´s find out.

The first comparison exists of SpaRitual Earth Matters, Zoya Ivanka, NYX Emerald Forest and Tony Moly GT04.
Let´s take a look at the pics first.

Index = SpaRitual Earth Matters 2 coats
Middle = NYX Emerald Forest 3 coats
Ring = Zoya Ivanka 3 coats
Pinkie = Tony Moly GT04 2 coats

Well, as you can see, my new polishes aren´t as close to the older ones as I thought. But the NYX and the Zoya are definitely very close. I would say they are dupes, but the NYX has a very little bit more gold (which of course my camera wouldn´t pick up)
The SpaRitual and Tony Moly have clear bases and only lots of glitter. Earth Matters has small green and gold glitter and needs at least 2 coats of topcoat to make it nice and smooth instead of dull, gritty and not sparkly at all. Tony Moly GT04 has small green and gold glitter and larger green glitter.

I love all 4 of these!

My next comparison is with the other half of the Love Your Planet duo, Greenhouse. I compared it to Zoya Apple. And honestly, their base colors are exactly the same. Different is that Greenhouse has gold shimmer where Apple has gold glitter.

Here they are, 3 coats each, index and ring is Greenhouse and middle and pinkie is Apple.

In this case I definitely prefer Apple. I just love sparkly colors, can´t help it.

So what are your favorites from the ones shown here?

Thanks for stopping by!
