A-England St George

Hello!

Another green holo by A-England. Great! It´s a nice dark green, leaning a little teal, but it´s so much better than the one by Glitter Gal!

I used only one coat and it covered perfectly. Maybe when you are a person that uses really thin coats you might need 2. Application is so smooth with these A-England polishes!

Here are some pics.

In real life it really is more holo than the pics show. But you can see that it doesn´t dry matte or anything. This is without a topcoat. Look at it shine!

You can order A-England straight from their webshop for 9 pounds a bottle with FREE world wide shipping.
You´ve got to love those A-Englands! Well, I know I do.

Have a great day!

Ozotic 530

Hi!

Today another Ozotic since I still haven´t shown you all of my gorgeous Ozotics. This is one of the Elytra´s, the duochrome glitters. The one shown today shifts orange, yellow, red and pink. I decided to layer it over a dark navy blue instead of black. So I used my beloved 1 coater: China Glaze Little Drummer Boy.

Yes, Elytra´s are great! I love all 3 of them.

Thanks for watching/reading!

Color Club Holiday Splendor

Hello!

A few days ago I showed you Zoya Holly and I told you it was good for layering. Of course I tried that out. I used Holiday Splendor from Color Club. I think it could be opaque on its own too when you use 3 coats. But layered it´s easier to remove, so I decided to do that.

This is 1 coat of Holiday Splendor over 2 coats of Holly.
daylight, no sun

artificial light
There´s much more holo glitter in this polish than you can actually see in the pictures. I actually had a few pics where you saw all the holo, but my phone totally freaked out with those shots.

I think this is a pretty amazing polish. I would like to see it side by side with China Glaze Atlantis someday. So I hope I´ll have time to do a comparison anytime soon.

Have a nice day!

Max Factor Fantasy Fire

Hi there nail polish addicts ;-)

How are you all doing? I´m quite ok. Recently I got some of my huge lemmings, including the one I´m showing you today. This is just sooo beautiful! Unfortunately my pics don´t do it justice, but still, it really is gorgeous!

I used Orly Royal Navy as my base color, 2 coats. If you enlarge the pics you might see some of the gorgeous aqua glitter through the awesome shimmer of Fantasy Fire. I used 2 coats of Fantasy Fire as well. Got lots of compliments on this manicure. It shifts so much colors. Unfortunately I didn´t see much daylight when I was wearing this, so I had to take pics in artificial light. In real life the shimmer popped much more and you couldn´t see the vnl that´s visible in the pictures...

It´s so stunning! This might be my favorite polish at the moment.

The only downside: the bottle is really small... might need to get a back up.

In case anyone is wondering, I got this at eBay.

Thanks for stopping by!

Zoya Holly

Hi ladies!

Today I´m showing you a nice green shimmer by Zoya. It was part of their last holiday collection. It´s very nice and works well as a base for glitter or something. I will show you that soon as well.

Application wasn´t as good as I´m used to with Zoya. But still managable. I used 2 coats.

Tipwear within 12 hours... hmm... not really great. I do like the color though.

What do you think of this one?

Have a wonderful day!

My own Unicorn Puke

Hello!

Since I´m quite sure I will never ever own Cult Nails Clairvoyant (aka Unicorn Puke) I decided to create my own. I have so many different flakie polishes so I was sure I could create something very cool. And it worked out very well.

Ingredients:
1 coat Nubar Noir
1 coat Essence Night In Vegas
1 coat Golden Rose scale effect 11
1 coat Golden Rose scale effect 02 (my all time favorite flakie)

It looks awesome! Let´s see if you agree with me.

Look at all those colors! I mean, it´s all there: red, orange, yellow, gold, green, blue, purple. Wow!

I still want Clairvoyant though...

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

China Glaze New Bohemian collection

OMG OMG OMG! Look at this!

Oh, hi there ladies! :-) I'm just so excited I forgot to say hi first, oops...

Can someone please tell me when this will be released? Anyone? I really need to know. They look so awesome! Or maybe anyone has seen swatches of this already? I would love to know where you saw them.

Ok, just look and drool. China Glaze is going duochrome!!!

I borrowed this from http://www.nailingthis.com/

Unpredictable

Rare and Radiant

Swanky Silk

No Plain Jane

Want My Bawdy

Deviantly Daring

Ok, I know, there are some possible dupes in there, but still it looks amazing.
Rare And Radiant = Peridot?
Swanky Silk = Nubar Stardust?
Unpredictable = Sephora Moody Woman?

Looking forward to this collection as much as I do?

Ok, got some bonus pics of my daughter, just because I'm so freaking proud of her.

Individually she ended 3rd, which is pretty good considering she has been injured for the past 2 months and didn't have a lot of practice. And together with her partner they won the competition for pairs. Very soon I'll have some short movies which I will show on here.

Oh, and yes, she is tall, but she still is one of the youngest in her category, haha.

Have a great day! And thanks for stopping by!

Golden Rose Magnetix Purple

Hi ladies!

I can´t seem to find the bottle of the polish I´m showing you today, so I can´t look up the name. Very stupid of me, sorry.

For this swatch I used only 1 coat, except for my ring finger, I used 2 coats on that one. The patterns are from the China Glaze magnetic polishes. And at my pinky you can see the polish on its own.

Application was nice and easy. Have a look at my pics.

I still need some practise for holding the magnet as you can see at my ring finger. But I really do like the finish. In my pictures this actually almost looks steel grey or something, but it really is purple.

Do you have a favorite magnetic polish? I would love to get my hands on the blue/purple one from Icing. I really hope I will get it some day.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Models Own Aqua Violet

Hello!

Today another one from the Models Own Beetlejuice collection. Before I start talking about Aqua Violet, I firt want to let you know that you can order the new Beetlejuices from monday the 19th at www.modelsownit.com . I´m really going to order these, they look so awesome.

Well, on to Aqua Violet. Amazing when I looked at the promo pics. Kind of boring in the bottle. But gorgeous on the nail!! You should really get this if you like duochromes like I do.

I used 3 coats, application wasn´t a problem. It shifts from teal, to ocean blue, to purple. Nice right?!

Here are my pics.

The color shifts are a lot stronger than you can see here in the pictures. It´s always hard to photograph a duochrome.

What do you think of this one? And are you going to get the new Beetlejuice collection?

Have a great day and thanks for looking!

A England Dragon

Hi there!

You all heard about A England right? Well, since a while I own 4 of their polishes too. And let me say, they are great! Application is sooo smooth and easy, I don´t think I´ve got anything like it in terms of application. And their colours are awesome too! I only bought some holos, but they are so unique. I mean, green holos that are not nearly black or very light? Anyone? Exactly, none (ok, 1 Nubar Reclaim, which is also awesome). But A England has 3, although one of those 3 is almost yellow, but still, 3 green holos in one collection!

Today I´m showing you one of those 3 green holos: Dragon. And it´s exactly like the colour I would think of with a dragon. Besides the murky green holo it also flashes bronze sometimes. Pretty!

Ok, let´s have a look at some pics. This is just one coat!

I think this might be my favorite A England. But not completely sure yet.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Wet ´n Wild Teal Of Fortune

Hi ladies!

Today I´ve got a really nice polish for you. Teal Of Fortune from Wet ´n Wild. When I was in Miami last october I picked this up at Walgreens. I hardly ever buy polish without seeing swatches, but on that holiday I bought a huge amount of polishes which I hadn´t seen before. This is one of them.

Yesterday I decided it was about time to try this polish. After the first 2 coats I seriously thought I but another Charla dupe. How in the world is that possible?!! In the bottle it definitely looks darker. And yes, after a 3rd coat it really did look different enough to justify owning both.

It´s a nice teal shimmer with gold micro glitter. Same sort of finish as Zoya Charla and Zoya Ivanka, but with a little less gold.

Pictures!

Nice!!! Well, that´s my opinion. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by!

NEW Beetlejuice collection for spring/summer 2012

Hello!

Yes, that´s right, Models Own is doing another Beetlejuice collection. Woohoooo!!! Yes!!

Ok, I must admit, the Beetlejuice collection from last autumn looked better in the promo pics than in real life, but still I´m really excited. I do really like my Beetlejuices, so I think I will like the new ones too.

Here´s the promo pic.
Left to right: Copper Pot, Tropical Summer, Indian Ocean.

Definitely good shades for a long hot summer (which is what I need soooo bad, the long hot summer that is). And a lot better names than the autumn Beetlejuice collection!

So what do you think of this? Must haves? And what seems to be your favorite? I think I´m most interested in Copper Pot.

Have a great day! Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Ebalay A03

Hi ladies!

Today I´m reviewing a nail polish from a brand I had never heard of before. It´s called Ebalay and it´s sold at www.kkcenterhk.com

This webshops sells many nail polishes, but also lots of other products.

Ebalay has this awesome iridescent line that retails for $6,80 a bottle. Their bottles are exactly like the OPI designer series bottles, so quite big.
These iridescent polishes have a nice duochrome. And you all know how much I love duochrome.

Let´s see some pics

And here's a bottle shot.

I used 1 coat of Zoya Raven as my base, because it really needs a base coat like most duochrome polishes. And then 1 coat of Ebalay A03

So what do you think? Pretty awesome right? I really like it and I think I might order some more of these beauties. Especially since I´m sure the other ones are even more duochrome.
If you want to see the whole range of Ebalay Iridescent you can have a look here
