Jelly sandwich with BB Couture Dragon´s Breath
How are all of you doing?? Hope you are all doing well.
After lots and lots of stress everything seems to fall back in place. That doesn´t mean I won´t be busy anymore, because I will for at least another 10 months, but it´s a lot less stressfull.
Well, for today I have a nice jelly sandwich. I started with 2 coats of BB Couture Dragon´s Breath, then 1 coat of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Bluebell, 1 coat of China Glaze Snow Globe and another coat of Dragon´t Breath. I really think the combination is beautiful! I really love jelly sandwiches!
Look at all the colors that match so well together! Gorgeous!
I actually had another 2 swatches on my camera, but as soon as put them on my computer I saw they dramatically failed. So I have no idea when I will be back with another post again. Sorry.
Hope you all enjoyed looking at my pics today and thanks for stopping by!

Color Club Blue-topia and Kleancolor Chunky Holo Black
Another Back To Boho polish. And it´s beautiful! And I actually got it opaque in one coat. How´s that possible with a dark blue jelly? Great! Application was really smooth.
Since I hadn´t tried Chunky Holo Black by Kleancolor yet, I thought it was about time! CHB is a very faded black base with duochrome glitter in different sizes. Unique in my stash!
And here are some pictures of Blue-topia on its own.
I changed something on the last pic so you can see it´s not totally opaque. The problem is when you do use a second coat, it gets so dark, it´s almost black and I didn´t want that.
Thank you for stopping by!

Kleancolor Holo Chrome
Well, I´ve collected quite a few Kleancolors in the last few months. But I have to say that I still love my first one the most. It was actually an extra in a one of my first swaps. For everyone that likes holo: go get Kleancolor Holo Chrome! It really is awesome. It has so much holo glitter in it, that even in low light you can see it sparkle. Its base color is a purple which leans very much to the lavender side. Pretty!!
To be totally opaque it needs 3 coats, that´s what I did too. But if you have short nails, you can definitely get away with just 2.
Here my favorite Kleancolor: Miss Holo Chrome :P
In my pics it shows up a bit more blue than it actually is, but ok, still pretty. So just imagine this a little more purple. Oh, and my camera just freaked out over the holo glitter, haha.
What´s your favorite Kleancolor? Is it this one too? Or maybe one of the Chunky Holo glitters? Or a metallic? Or maybe something completely different.
Have a great day!

BeYu Brilliant Shiraz over Kleancolor Disco Purple
You must have all heard about BeYu Brilliant Shiraz by now, since it´s so close to Clarins 230 aka Unicorn Pee. And OMG, it´s amazing!! Seriously, I can´t believe how awesome it is. One of the ladies from a board I frequently visit got it for me. Thanks again Anke!! I owe you big time!
I have no clue where to buy this pretty polish, besides Douglas here in the Netherlands. There is a slight problem though. It has 2 versions. Why on earth do companies do this? Just name it differently. This one has inci 31 on the bottle, but there´s also a version which has inci 24 and that one is quite boring.
So, ok, when this one showed up I practically ran to the nearest Douglas, but they only had the boring version here. Bummer! Well, thanks to Anke I was lucky to get my hands on it.
Anyway, let´s get back to this beautiful polish. It´s a fuchsia sheer jelly base with this amazing shimmer/glitter like Clarins 230. Oh wow! It shifts from red, to orange and gold and even green. But the green I couldn´t capture on camera, sorry.
For my base I used Kleancolor Disco Purple. This is actually a very pretty polish too, which I should show you on its own soon too. It´s a dark purple with blue glitter. And as you can see in my swatches, the blue is very visible, since you can still even see it through the BeYu Unicorn Pee.
I used 2 coats of Disco Purple and 1 coat of Brilliant Shiraz. Perfect combo in my opinion. Both were very easy to work with.
Ok, so, here we go, droooooooollll.
F*ck... Blogger, why do you keep doing this to me? Yes, they are more amazing than this, but thanks to blogger, they look a little less gorgeous and amazing. Clicking them does help a little though.
What do you guys think? Awesome or what? And I'd like to say thank you to BeYu for making something close to Clarins 230, haha. And not discontinued yet, yay!!
Have a wonderful day!

Kleancolor Winter Wishes
For today I chose a polish which I think I´ve never seen a swatch from before. That also means that I bought this one without knowing what to expect exactly. That´s the fun part of buying cheap polish. For only $1,75 a piece at Beauty Joint you can try Kleancolor polishes. With more expensive polish I definitely need to see a few swatches before I buy it, but with these prices I´m willing to take a chance and see if it´s a cool polish.
Well, this one actually is a winner! It really is awesome! It´s a silver and very sparkly polish with multicolored glitter. At first I thought it might be a dupe for Picture Polish Sparkle, but it´s not. Sparkle is a lot less shiny and also the formula is more opaque, which make the glitter less visible. Winter Wishes is really sheer, but it needs to be for the glitter. After 3 coats I can still see through my nails when I hold them up into the light. But I´m ok with that, because it´s such a nice color.
Application was ok, although mine has kind of a wonky brush (which I don´t have with my other Kleancolors, it´s just a bit of bad luck) but I could handle it ok. I´ve read about long drying time on Kleancolor, which had not happened to me before, but with this one it actually did take hours (eventhough I used my super fast dry China Glaze Fast Forward).
Well, here´s the picture. Yes, just one. Couldn´t find more decent pics in the (at least) 20 I made, haha.

Layering experiment with Sally Hansen Purple Pizzazz
Lately I´ve seen a lot of layering experiments on blogs and on MUA. Since I´m not that creative myself I decided to copy one I´ve seen on MUA (I´m sorry, don´t remember who it was anymore, otherwise of course I would credit her for it). It consists of 3 jelly polishes with glitter.
The original one was with Sally Hansen Purple Pizzazz, OPI Last Friday Night and Clarins 230. But I only have Purple Pizzazz out of these 3, so I decided to use NYX Turks and Caicos, which is an almost dupe for Last Friday Night, and Kleancolor Chunky Holo Fuchsia, which is the closest I´ve got to the famous unicorn pee and actually has the number 230 as well.
Ok, this is what I did. I started with 2 thin coats of Purple Pizzazz. After that 1 coat of Turks and Caicos and 1 coat of Chunky Holo Fuchsia. And I finished it with another layer of Purple Pizzazz and my dear friend China Glaze Fast Forward.
Here are my pics, but you have to imagine it a lot more purple instead of blue.
Unfortunately you don't see the green in the multichrome glitter from Kleancolor, but it definitely is there. Oh man, I love the Holo Chrome collection from Kleancolor!
Drying took long! Eventhough I usually don´t have any problems with Fast Forward. It´s probably because it´s all jelly´s and because it´s 5 layers. Well, I think it looks pretty awesome! I love that jelly finish! No vnl, but you can still see through the nail when you hold them up to the light.
Thanks for stopping by!

Green glitter comparison by Kleancolor
I decided to do a comparison between the 2 green glitters I have from Kleancolor. Well, they turned out to be very different.
On my pinkie and middel finger you see Holiday Jingle and on my index and ring finger you see Leaves Jingle.
At first I thought I didn't need both, but then I saw swatches from Kaz from pretty-random and Holiday Jingle looked awesome. I'm really curious how she got the polish to look like that, because mine is definitely more of a topcoat. I think they probably changed the formula. Can you believe I used 3 coats in the picture? It's very difficult to catch the glitters on the brush, you mostly get the clear base.
Leaves Jingle on the other hand is exactly what I expected. I really like it! A green jelly with green glitter. And opaque in 2 coats. I think I could have taken better pics of Leaves Jingle though, but I will as soon as I wear it as a NOTD.
Thanks for visiting! Enjoy your day!

Kleancolor Metallic Red and Chunky Holo Scarlet
Another 2 Kleancolors for today. I really like this brand. Some of them have some application issues, but most of them are great. Especially the metallics.
I used 1 coat of each and somehow I don't have a lot to say about this mani. I just like it very much!!
So just enjoy the photos.
The last 2 pictures are Metallic Red on its own.
Thanks for visiting me today!

Kleancolor Metallic Sapphire and NYX Turks and Caicos
Goodmorning!
Don't you just love a good metallic polish that is opaque im one coat? I suggest you get all the metallic polishes from Kleancolor then. They are awesome. Very easy to work with, one coaters and great colors! So far I own red, black, purple and sapphire. The last one I'm showing you today. Gorgeous blue!!!
I actually added Turks and Caicos by NYX because I'm in a huge glitter mood lately. Also easy to apply. Turks and Caicos is light blue jelly with multicolored glitter. I've heard it might be a dupe for one of the Katie Perry polishes. But I can't do a comparison because I don't have that one. If they.are dupes, this is definitely the cheaper version.
Unfortunately I'm still writing my posts on my cellphone and can't organize the pictures the way I want them too. So the pics with and without glitter might be mixed up.
Soon I'll have a break from work and I hopen I've got some time to fix my laptop than.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Finally: the perfect black with red glitter
Goodmorning!
I've been searching for the perfect black with red glitter for ages. Tried many different ones. For instance Lubu Heels by China Glaze. It looks awesome... until you see it from a distance, then you hardly see the red glitter at all and it almost looks like a plain black polish. But then I ordered NYX Dorothy. Wow!! It's a black jelly with red micro glitter and red hex glitter. Gorgeous with a capital G!! And the glitter is also visible from a distance, big win!
Because it's a bit sheer I decided to layer it over my newest black polish, Kleancolor Metallic Black. Great polish!! 1 coat only and very smooth application. Then I used 1 coat of Dorothy. Application wasn't fantastic, a bit thick, but most glitter polishes are, so I was prepared for that.
Yes, I must say I'm totally happy with this mani! Finally my perfect black with red glitter. Mission accomplished.
Thanks for visiting my blog!

White + stamping
Goodmorning ladies!
Today a short one. I finally used China Glaze Snow. Oh man, I really don't like applying white polish. You see every single mistake... And this one was supposed to be quite opaque, but still needs 3 coats.
For the stamping I used Kleancolor Metallic Red, China Glaze Harmony and China Glaze Admire. And one of the new bundlemonster plates.
Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

Kleancolor Bluebell over Orly Royal Navy
Hi ladies!
Today I've got one of the Kleancolor polishes for you. I decided to layer Bluebell over Orly Royal Navy. Royal Navy is just such a gorgeous shade of blue and if you shake it well enough you also get the turquoise glitter on the nail.
I'm not sure if blogger let's you enlarge the pics, but please try. Because in the close up you can also see the glitter of Royal Navy through the glitter of Bluebell. Gorgeous!
For this manicure I used 1 coat of ridgefiller, 3 coats of Royal Navy and 1 coat Bluebell. You don't see any of the base color of Bluebell because it's so sheer.
Look at the gorgeous multichrome glitter of the Kleancolor. And I totally love the combo!
Thanks for visiting!!

My Kleancolors --- very pic heavy
Hello
Today I'm showing you all my Kleancolors on a nail wheel. I recently did a swap since I really needed some of the chunky holo polishes ever since I saw the first one at MUA a few weeks ago. They are awesome! But impossible to get when you don't live in the US. Thanks Kristina!!!
Ok, so this post is really pic heavy. But since I'm still making posts with my blogger app on my phone, I'm unable to write between the pics. So first a description.
Edit: I just found out I can't put the pictures in a certain order, sorry.
First bottle shots. After that you'll see nail wheels. From left to right: metallic red, chunky holo purple, chunky holo bluebell, chunky holo scarlet, chunky holo fuchsia, holo chrome, holo orange, holo yellow, leaves jingle.
Nice detail: chunky holo fuchsia has number 230 and layered it might even be close to famous Clarins 230.
As you can see, almost all chunky holos need layering. Well I'll show you some soon.
They do remind me of the Nfu Oh flakies, but the chunky holos are more a multichrome glitter than flakies.
Enjoy the pic overload! And thanks for stopping by!
