Hi ladies!
I remember so well when I first saw Ozotic 505. It was way before Picture Polish had a website that shipped internationally and also way before all the other webshops started selling it. But I wanted it, it was so awesome!! I googled and googled and finally found some nail supply store in Australia that sold them. But... not internationally. I emailed the owner and she was willing to make an exception for me. I was soooo happy! The prices were really good too. I think I bought them for around 10 australian dollars each.
Well, after receiving it back then (I guess about 3 years ago) I only wore it once or twice. So it was definitely time to use it again. And I still love it! Pictures don´t do it justice. None of the pictures I´ve seen on the web, but still I made some for you.
This is 1 coat of Zoya Raven with 2 coats of Ozotic 505.
Look at all these colors! It is teal, green, blue, purple, pink, orange and gold. Although the orange and gold aren´t that visible, only in some angles.
Can you believe I took this pictures on day 4? And I actually had my first chip after a full week!
Have a wonderful day!

A-England Ascalon
Hello ladies!
A-England makes some of the best holos out there. They aren´t as much in your face as the Layla holos for instance, but in the sun they really are gorgeous. The one I´m showing you today is Ascalon. It´s a charcoal holo with a pink flash in some angles.
What I also like about A-England is that they ship free worldwide. Which means I don´t always have to order large amounts of polish just to justify the shipping. Love that! Wish more companies would do that.
Application was very smooth. I used 2 coats.

If you enlarge the last pic you can actually see some of the pink flash. It´s pretty!
Excuse the tipwear. Can you believe I almost forgot to take pictures of this one? These were taken after 3 days of wear...
What´s your favorite A-England polish? I think my favorite is St George, but I do love all of them.
Have a wonderful day!

Models Own Indian Ocean
Hi ladies!
A few days ago I showed you Nicole One Big Happy Fame-ily. Since my new Models Own Beetlejuices came in when I was wearing them and I had read all over the place that Indian Ocean was really sheer, I decided to layer it on top of One Big Happy Fame-ily. And it turned out to be a good combo. Although I´m really curious how it would look on a darker color too.
I used 2 coats of Indian Ocean and this is the result.
In real life the colors are much more vibrant, but you just have to trust me on that one.
I do have to admit that the new Beetlejuices are a bit of a disappointment unfortunately. I really hoped they would be awesome opaque duochromes. Layered Indian Ocean looks pretty. And Copper Pot looks pretty amazing in the bottle. But I´m pretty sure Tropical Sun is not a keeper.
Thanks for stopping by!

Ozotic 530
Hi!
Today another Ozotic since I still haven´t shown you all of my gorgeous Ozotics. This is one of the Elytra´s, the duochrome glitters. The one shown today shifts orange, yellow, red and pink. I decided to layer it over a dark navy blue instead of black. So I used my beloved 1 coater: China Glaze Little Drummer Boy.

Yes, Elytra´s are great! I love all 3 of them.

Jelly sandwich with BB Couture Dragon´s Breath
OMG! 2 weeks!?! I can´t believe it has been that long.
How are all of you doing?? Hope you are all doing well.
After lots and lots of stress everything seems to fall back in place. That doesn´t mean I won´t be busy anymore, because I will for at least another 10 months, but it´s a lot less stressfull.
Well, for today I have a nice jelly sandwich. I started with 2 coats of BB Couture Dragon´s Breath, then 1 coat of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Bluebell, 1 coat of China Glaze Snow Globe and another coat of Dragon´t Breath. I really think the combination is beautiful! I really love jelly sandwiches!
Look at all the colors that match so well together! Gorgeous!
I actually had another 2 swatches on my camera, but as soon as put them on my computer I saw they dramatically failed. So I have no idea when I will be back with another post again. Sorry.
Hope you all enjoyed looking at my pics today and thanks for stopping by!

OPI Warm & Fozzie
Hello ladies!
Already 5 days since my last post! I can´t believe how time flies when you are stressed and busy. But today I finally have a manicure to show you. My skin is in really bad shape. It has been insanely cold this past week here in the Netherlands. And I can moisturize as much as I want, but it just doesn´t really make it better. So please do not look at my horrible skin in the pictures.
The polish I´m showing you today is Warm & Fozzie by OPI. An awesome foil with gold, bronze, pink and even some green tones. It does need 3 coats for full opacity. But it wears like iron. I took the pictures on the third day wearing this. I used to change my mani every day, sometimes every other day, but I don´t have time for that either at the moment. I hope the time comes back that I can do that again.
Anyway, back to the polish.

Do you have any of the OPI Muppets? I only have this one but I think I would like to get Designer The Better too.

Zoya Caitlin + CND Amethyst Sparkle
Hi there!
Todays polish I was about to swap. Why? Well, I didn´t really love the color and it is a creme, which I´m also not fond about. But I decided it needed a second chance before it would leave my house.
Zoya Caitlin is a blue based grey and applies very well, plus it is opaque in 2 coats. I used 2 coats of CND Amethyst Sparkle to get out of its boring zone. And that really helped! Amethyst Sparkle is a very nice pink sparkle. Not my favorite CND, but still.
I really like CND effects and I should really use them more often. The only downside is that I always have trouble catching CND effects on camera. So that´s why I only have 1 picture for you today. I hope you don´t mind.
And still I´m not sure if I should keep Caitlin. I like her, but only as a base color for layering. I would never wear this on its own.
Thanks for watching!!

Finger Paints Artist Sapphire + Sally Hansen Ice Queen
Hi there!
When I saw Sally Hansen Ice Queen it looked really interesting in the bottle. Silver glitter + blue hex glitter. Well, I actually underestimated it. It´s quite an awesome layering polish. Besides the silver glitter and blue hex glitter there´s also some holo glitter (not a lot, just a bit) and pink hex glitter.
Now I only needed something to layer it over. So I went through my spreadsheet and saw Finger Paints Artist Sapphire was still untried. I must admit that I wasn´t sure it was untried or I just forgot to mark it as tried. Oh well, who cares :P It´s a nice dark blue.
Application of Artist Sapphire is really nice because of the small brush. And I only needed 1 coat. It did take a little longer than average to dry, but that´s ok.
Ice Queen has a really nice formula for a glitter! I used 2 coats of that. And it´s not gritty like many other glitter polishes.
Pictures!
What do you think of this combo?
I was a bit afraid it would look like China Glaze Lorelei´s Tiara which I have on the way, but after using it I´m quite sure it isn´t. What I´ve seen from Lorelei´s Tiara is that it is a glitter which fully covers the nail, while Ice Queen is definitely only for layering.

OPI It`s My Year
Hello ladies!
Today an OPI polish from the Miss Universe collection. Since I love Zoya Faye and Orly Oui and thought It´s My Year was a similar polish but colorwise just right between these two, I really thought I needed this polish. After applying it, it looked kind of the same as Zoya Faye. Bummer! I mean, what´s the use of buying dupes? I didn´t do a comparison yet, so I´m not sure yet, but I will make one soon.
This doesn´t mean I don´t like this one. I really adore these kind of shades. I do prefer Orly Oui though.
Application wise it was good. Dried fast too. I used 2 coats for opacity.
And here we go!
Thank you for watching! Enjoy your day!

Wet ´n Wild Back Alley Deals
Hello!
When I was in Miami I visited Walgreens quite a few times and each time there were new displays. The one with these Wet ´n Wild glitter polishes I found on my last day in Miami and decided I needed the purple one. And it´s awesome! It´s purple glitter with larger pink glitter. At first I thought it was red, but it really is pink.
Application wasn´t perfect, but no huge problems. I used 2 coats and that was enough. It dried extremely fast. Of course it just sucked the topcoat right in. It needs at least 2 coats of tc.
I hoped the pictures turned out great, but my camera couldn´t handle all the glitter and shineyness.
Really awesome! I love it!
Do you own any of these new Wet ´n Wild glitters?
Thanks for visiting!

OPI Pros & Bronze
Hello!
Todays color is a bit weird. Well, it looks weird on me. When I saw this one on other blogs I just had to have it. So recently I used it and it just didn´t look good on me. No idea if it´s just my skintone or if it´s just me not liking the colors used in this polish, I really don´t know.
This polish is bronze (which looks orange), pink and in heavy sunlight you can see some other (very small) multicolored glitter too. The finish is sort of a foil. And it´s sheer. I used 3 coats and I could still see through my nails when I hold them up into the light.
Here it is: OPI Pros & Bronze
So what do you think about this color? You like it? I think it gives me lobster hands, yuk.

Foil duochrome layering experiment
Hello ladies!
Today I´ve got a layering experiment. And it worked out quite well if I may say so.
I was always wondering what happened if you layer 2 duochromes. Are there more colors visible? Or do they mix and give different colors? Well, a little bit of both I guess.
First I used 2 coats of Claire´s Poison Apple and then 2 coats of Orly Space Cadet. The result? A lighter version of Space Cadet, haha. It seems like the purple of Space Cadet and the pink of Poison Apple blended a little and you also you can see some orange from Poison Apple through the gold of Space Cadet. I think it´s pretty awesome.
Sorry for the smudge on my middle finger, ooooppss.
Gorgeous! Well, that´s my opinion. But what do you think? Is it a nice combination or what?

BeYu Brilliant Shiraz over Kleancolor Disco Purple
Hello!
You must have all heard about BeYu Brilliant Shiraz by now, since it´s so close to Clarins 230 aka Unicorn Pee. And OMG, it´s amazing!! Seriously, I can´t believe how awesome it is. One of the ladies from a board I frequently visit got it for me. Thanks again Anke!! I owe you big time!
I have no clue where to buy this pretty polish, besides Douglas here in the Netherlands. There is a slight problem though. It has 2 versions. Why on earth do companies do this? Just name it differently. This one has inci 31 on the bottle, but there´s also a version which has inci 24 and that one is quite boring.
So, ok, when this one showed up I practically ran to the nearest Douglas, but they only had the boring version here. Bummer! Well, thanks to Anke I was lucky to get my hands on it.
Anyway, let´s get back to this beautiful polish. It´s a fuchsia sheer jelly base with this amazing shimmer/glitter like Clarins 230. Oh wow! It shifts from red, to orange and gold and even green. But the green I couldn´t capture on camera, sorry.
For my base I used Kleancolor Disco Purple. This is actually a very pretty polish too, which I should show you on its own soon too. It´s a dark purple with blue glitter. And as you can see in my swatches, the blue is very visible, since you can still even see it through the BeYu Unicorn Pee.
I used 2 coats of Disco Purple and 1 coat of Brilliant Shiraz. Perfect combo in my opinion. Both were very easy to work with.
Ok, so, here we go, droooooooollll.
F*ck... Blogger, why do you keep doing this to me? Yes, they are more amazing than this, but thanks to blogger, they look a little less gorgeous and amazing. Clicking them does help a little though.
What do you guys think? Awesome or what? And I'd like to say thank you to BeYu for making something close to Clarins 230, haha. And not discontinued yet, yay!!
Have a wonderful day!

Comparison: purple polishes with gold shimmer
Hi ladies!
I love doing comparisons! I dislike having dupes though...
Today a comparison with quite a few purple polishes I found in my stash that have a gold shimmer in them. Well, before we start, let me say I´m really happy there are no dupes here. Pfew!
This is what I used:
Index --> Zoya Zara 3 coats
Middle --> NYX Golden Lavender 3 coats
Ring --> Pure Ice Purple Reign 2 coats
Pinkie --> Sephora by OPI Hell To The No 2 coats
As you can see is the NYX more pink than purple, eventhough it really looked purple in the bottle and at swatches I've seen of it. I love how visible the shimmer is in Zara. Somehow I keep forgetting how beautiful she is. And in my memory Hell To The No was much more sparkly. I still really like it though.
Luckily none of the colors look a like.
I've got another 2 purples with gold shimmer: Sally Hansen Arabian Night, which is more bluetoned and Milani Dot Com which is more eggplant, so those 2 didn't fit in this comparison, although they are purples with gold shimmer.
Which of these is your favorite?
Thanks for stopping by!

Golden Rose flakies 02
Hi ladies!
You have probably all heard before of the Golden Rose flakies. Well, you've probably also heard that when applied over black there are only 2 colors, red/yellow/orange/green (like SH Hidden Treasure) and blue/green (like Nfu Oh 39). But that's not completely true. I have another Golden Rose flakie polish which only shifts orange/green/yellow, so not a standard one with red.
And the one I'm showing you today is totally amazing!! It shifts yellow, orange, red, pink, green, purple and blue. OMG this is the queen of all flakies! So stunning! A true must have for any flakies lover.
I applied 1 coat of flakies over 1 coat of a black Color Club without label.
Enjoy the pics and thanks for watching!

Golden Rose 114
Hi ladies!
Today I've got one of my new Golden Rose polishes for you. I couldn't find swatches of it, but I thought it looked like a sort of burgundy from the pics. It is actually a bit too pink for me, not sure if I'm keeping it.
Application was ok, although the bottle and cap are a very small. The.holo is great!
Thanks for looking!!
