WIC by Herome Marseille + A-England bottle spam

Hello ladies!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I know I am. Finally a weekend I´m not working, yay!!

Today I´m showing you a new (at least, I guess it´s new since I never saw it before) shade of the WIC collection by Herome. It´s called Marseille and I saw a few more shades with city names of France.

Marseille is a soft gold base with green, blue and gold glitter in it. Pretty awesome!! I must admit I was mostly impressed when it was still wet and I´m so happy I took a picture of that. It also looks pretty awesome when the sun hits it directly, but other than that it wasn´t what I hoped it would be when I brought it home with me.

Apllication on this one was good. I had never tried WIC before but I really like the brush. Opacity... hmm, I used 3 coats, but it would have been better with 4. The quality was really good! It´s been on my nails for 4 days now and no chips at all. Yes, I have tipwear, but I type a lot, so there´s no polish that would last.

Ok, on to the bottle spam of A England. Eventhough there was sun today I just was to busy with other things so I haven´t swatched them yet. I might just put one on tonight and make some pics under artificial light.

From left to right: Lady Of The Lake, Tristam, St George, Dragon.

Man, they look awesome!! You see the bronze flash in Dragon? And how cool is it that there´s finally a real nice green holo, actually 2 at the same time! Ok, there´s Nubar Reclaim (which is pretty!) and there´s one from Glitter Gal (which is really dark...) bot other than that there aren´t any good green holos. Way to go A-England!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

BeYu Brilliant Shiraz over OPI Yoga-ta Get This Blue

Hi there!

Oh man, Brilliant Shiraz is really awesome!! I´ve shown it before over a dark purple, but today I used Yoga-ta Get This Blue by OPI as my base. Perfect dark blue 1 coat shimmer. Brilliant Shiraz looks really gorgeous on top of a dark blue, even better than with a dark purple base. It really glows. So pretty!

So this is one coat of each plus topcoat. Perfect application on both of them.

I still have no idea how close this is to Clarins 230, but I´m pretty sure this is a lot less duochrome. Oh well, I still love it. I´ve read about a new Max Factor polish though which is supposed to be really close to Clarins 230. Of course I ran to each and every single store I know that sells Max Factor, but so far no sign of it yet. I will be checking the stores on a regular base from now on, because I really need to get my hands on that Unicorn Pee dupe.

Thanks for watching!

Requests + some great stuff on the way

Hi!

In the past few months I´ve promised to make some comparisons. Also I got some requests in the comment box for comparisons and swatches. The thing is, I totally forgot what they were. I used to write it down somewhere, but lately it´s been so busy I totally forgot about lots of things.

So please leave a comment telling me if there´s a swatch or comparison you´d like to see and I will soon show all the requests.

Thank you!

And I really have to tell you I got some great stuff on the way. Some of the new Zoya´s to begin with, but I´m most excited about my A-England polishes that are coming. From their new collection The Legend I ordered St George and Dragon. Yes, that´s right, those are the 2 green holos. Can´t wait to get them and in the meantime let´s hope I´ll get some sun to show the best of the them. Of course I also ordered Tristam and Lady Of The Lake, which I have been wanting for quite some time now. So lots of great stuff is coming my way and of course I´ll show them to you as soon as I can.

Enjoy your day!

Orly Out Of This World

Hi there!

For today I´m showing you Orly Out Of This World. When I saw this in the bottle I had to have it, although I was never really attracted to it when I saw swatches of it. But it really is a beauty! Although I do wish the gold would be a lot more visible.

This was perfect in 2 coats. And the application was good, like expected with Orly.

I´m really happy I captured the gold on camera a bit in the first picture, that makes it look a lot more awesome.

Sorry for such a short post, but there´s just not a lot to tell about this.

Thanks for watching!

Icing Irish Gold

Hello ladies!

Yes, that´s right, another Icing polish today. Also bought on my trip to Miami. I was actually searching for an Icing store the whole time I was there. And guess what, I finally found it on my last hours in Miami. Since I had some (a lot) time to fill before I was flying home, I decided to go to the mall closest to the mall. Dolphin Mall it´s called if anyone is wondering. Very nice mall! I bought lots of clothes and nail polish that day.

Anyway, back to the actual polish. Irish Gold is a green and gold glitter in a clear base. Pretty cool! I actually thought it was something more like a green base with gold and maybe even some holo glitter, but ok, like this too.

I used 3 coats, although a 4th coat would have been better.

Let´s have a look.

What do you think? Pretty nice right?

Have a great day!
