My own Unicorn Puke

Hello!

Since I´m quite sure I will never ever own Cult Nails Clairvoyant (aka Unicorn Puke) I decided to create my own. I have so many different flakie polishes so I was sure I could create something very cool. And it worked out very well.

Ingredients:
1 coat Nubar Noir
1 coat Essence Night In Vegas
1 coat Golden Rose scale effect 11
1 coat Golden Rose scale effect 02 (my all time favorite flakie)

It looks awesome! Let´s see if you agree with me.

Look at all those colors! I mean, it´s all there: red, orange, yellow, gold, green, blue, purple. Wow!

I still want Clairvoyant though...

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Orly Androgynie + Essence Make It Golden

Hello!

Remember I showed you Androgynie about 10 days ago? And remember how I wasn´t that impressed by it? Well, before I removed it, I just wanted to try some layering to see if I could spice it up a little. And I was quite happy with the result!

Essence Make It Golden has a clear base with gold glitter in different sizes and shapes. I love these kind of polishes over a black base!

Have a look.

Quite cool, don´t you think?! I really like the combo! Essence also has a purple glitter like this in their new collection, and a blue and green one that looks like Lippmann Across The Universe when layered over a dark blue.cross

Thanks for visiting me today!!

My first gradient mani in spired by ALU

Goodmorning ladies!

I actually have Butter London Stroppy in my stash for quite a long time. Since I really had no idea what to do with it (it´s soooo sheer), it ended up in my blog sale. Recently I found this gorgeous mani over at All Lacquered UP and decided to take Stroppy out of my blog sale and swaplist.

First, here´s my inspiration: ALU

Well now, I don´t own all the colors she used. So instead of CND Urban Oasis with Teal Sparkle I used Essence Trust In Fashion and CND Jade Sparkle.

Here´s what I did:
First base coat (Zoya), then 1 coat of Trust in Fashion (which was very fast drying) and 1 coat of Jade Sparkle. Then I applied Poshe so it could dry quickly. About half an hour later I started with Stroppy. First coat at 3/4 of the nail, second coat at 5/8, third coat at 1/2, fifth coat at the tips and forth coat somewhere between third and fifth :P (I hope you all understand what I mean, haha). And finished with another coat of Poshe.

Yay, my very first gradient and I think it´s awesome! You can see gold, and pink, and blue sparkles through the green and purple. Wow!

Unfortunately I did have shrinkage the next day, which you can see in the sun pic. At least you can see some green there, haha.

Do you like it? Is this something you´ll try too?

Essence Image Plate

Happy Easter!

Today I want to show you one of the Essence image plates. I've only got 2 of them which are both full nail images.

I used the black konad polish and put it over Funky Fingers Golden Coast.

As you can see on my index finger, it is a bit tricky to catch the stamp. I had to press harder than I usely do. But besides that it is just fine for the price you pay for it (don't exactly remember how much it was, but it was cheap)

Thanks for watching and enjoy your day!

China Glaze Channelesque with Essence Louise

Hello

Last week I did a mani that I´ve seen on someone else like half a year ago. I don´t remember who it was, sorry. I was wearing China Glaze Channelesque to work, but when I got home I needed some bling on a very windy and rainy day. So that´s when I thought of the great mani I saw six months ago. I pulled out Essence Louise (one of the twin polishes) and layered it over Channelesque. Louise has purple and dark pink glitter in different sizes and shapes. It looks great over the taupe with purple tones of Channelesque!
I think Louise looks like a purple and pink version of China Glaze Party Hearty (which I will be showing you soon)

So, what do you think? Cool isn´t it?!

That´s it for today ladies. Thanks for stopping by!

Nailpolish the cheap way

Hi ladies!

A new week so I thought I´d try something different. After showing you all these expensive brands, it´s now time for something cheap and affordable for everyone. I used a turquoise creme by H&M and it´s called Bella´s choice. Application was not that good, it really needs some thinner, but it was opaque in 1 coat, just as I like my cremes.

I would never ever wear this color alone, it just isn´t me. Glitter or flakies? Both!! I used Essence Glisten Up. Only 1,29 euro! It´s a light blue base with glitter and flakies. Very nice!

Unfortunately my camera had a hard time capturing the flakies and glitter.

What do you think of this combination? Instead of using an expensive OPI creme and an expensive Nfu Oh flakie, I used these cheap polishes and the result is still nice. Although I´m still a bigger fan of more expensive brands, haha.

Have a great week and thanks for watching!

Essence twin

Hi guys!

Since this week is the week Kruidvat is doing the 1+1 free thing this is a good moment to show you an Essence polish. Essence has these nice twin polishes. It´s a color + a glitter that match together. This collection consists of 5 different colors with nice names like Bonnie&Clyde, Thelma&Louise and Mr.Big&Carrie. A while ago I decided to buy Louise. Did not buy Thelma, since I already own more than enough dark purple polishes.
Here´s the picture. I layered it over Orly Velvet Rope. This picture was taken months ago, had a different nail shape back than.

So if you like it, now it´s the time to go get it!

Thanks for stopping by!
