Orly Country Club Khaki with a twist

Hello ladies!

Oh wow, I can´t believe it has been almost a month since my last post! Sometimes I think I should just quit my blog, because it´s very hard to find time to post anything. But I love blogging when I have time, and I shouldn´t feel obligated to post every day. I hope people like my blog eventhough I´m not here every day.

Well, I do have something awesome to show you. I finally got Orly Country Club Khaki. Yay! And I applied like butter and is a lot more opaque than I expected. I only used 1 coat! Unbelievable! It´s a very pretty nude shade. But I decided I wanted something extra pretty. So I did some stamping with white Konad polish. And this is what it turned into.

I truly think this is a very beautiful combination. Nude with a twist. This is definitely something I will wear more often.

Thanks for stopping by!

White + stamping

Goodmorning ladies!

Today a short one. I finally used China Glaze Snow. Oh man, I really don't like applying white polish. You see every single mistake... And this one was supposed to be quite opaque, but still needs 3 coats.

For the stamping I used Kleancolor Metallic Red, China Glaze Harmony and China Glaze Admire. And one of the new bundlemonster plates.

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

White!

Hello ladies!

I thought I'd show you something else for a change. How about a white? I've never done a white mani before. But just plain white is boring in my opinion, so it needed some sparkles.

Do you also have trouble finding an opaque white nail polish? I did, so I decided to get OPI Alpine Snow Matte. At least it dries fast. The whites I tried before this needed way too long to dry and they also needed at least 3 coats to be opaque and were very runny. Well, Apline Snow Matte is not runny and dries fast. Needs 2 coats to be opaque, but you can see the brush strokes very clearly. So still not really a winner.
Since I planned some glitter on top, it was not a big deal.

I layered China Glaze Polar Ice on top, 2 coats. And applied some Seche Vite, because that's the best topcoat to make a gritty manicure smooth.

After this I waited for the sun to get decent pictures. And waited. And waited. And waited. Of course no sun. So eventhough the effect is pretty nice, you can hardly see in it the pictures unfortunately.

First picture in daylight, second is blurry in an attempt to show you the sparkles... and third in artificial light.

Polar Ice is a holographic glitter in a clear base. It's actually similar to Fairy Dust only with larger glitter.

I'll try this mani again when there's more sun. For now, sorry...

Have a great sunday!

Konad spam

Hello!!

Today I just wasn´t ready to take of Ozotic 505. Normally I always do that after a day, but it was still perfect and I couldn´t get enough of all the amazing colors.

So for today I decided to give you some Konad spam. This is all stuff I did over the past year. Some are ok, some are horrible, haha, but I wanted to show you anyway.

Well, that´s all for today. I do have something very nice planned for tomorrow, I´m keeping my fingers crossed for good pictures :P

Bye!

Color Club magic attraction

Goodmorning ladies!

How are you all doing? It's been a busy week for me and didn't sleep very well either, so I'm kind of exhausted. But well, nothing I can do about that right now, so just keep going! Tomorrow I don't have to work, so that should help to feel less tired.

Today I want to show you my NOTD from yesterday. It gets harder and harder to find untrieds in my stash that are work appropriate as well. I think I didn't succeed, haha. But ok, no comments from managers, so it's ok.
This is a very very very nice glitter polish. It's Color Club magic attraction. It has kind of a white glitter base with lots of holo glitter in it. In these pictures you see I've been lazy, I should have done an extra layer, so still some visible nail line. In this case I didn't mind.

2 coats on the pictures
These pictures were taken inside near a lamp, you can see how good the holoness shows in just lamp light, not even really close to a lamp.

Here you can see that when the light doesn't hit it, you have kind of a sugar layer on your nails.

The glitter is bigger than China Glaze fairy dust, but smaller than China Glaze polar ice. I think this would be very nice layered over something else as well.

So, what do you think? Isn't it pretty? Not too much in your face, but still it gives your nails just a nice "look".

Enjoy your weekend!!
