Robotika with an Ozotic glitter

Hi ladies!

Today I've got something for you that is probably one of my ugliest manicures ever, LOL. Last monday when I had to work I just put something on my nails to cover them because they look kind of horrible naked at the moment. So I chose one of the ChG Khromes, which I usually only use for stamping, because that's actually why I have them in the first place. I chose Robotika. It's not totally ugly, but very simple and plain, so yes, work appropriate. After I got home monday night I went through my stash to find a nice topcoat. I don't know what I was thinking when I picked Ozotic 203. This is a clear base with red glitter and holo string glitter. Pretty cool when you would apply it on a dark color (dark red or black), but not a winner on top of Robotika.

First up some pictures of Robotika (only 1 coat, yay for that!)

And here is it topped with 2 coats of Ozotic 203.

See what I mean? It just doesn't match.

Enjoy your day!

Zoya Roxy + Konad

Hi dear readers!

Remember I showed you Zoya Roxy a week ago? Well, after a day and a half it was still perfect, so I didn´t want to take it off just yet, so I decided to add some konad. Stamping is definitely my favorite nail art. I´ve got many nail stickers that I´ve never used, and also some other nail art stuff, but I only use my stamping kit.

So, here we have 3 coats of Roxy stamped with China Glaze Millennium. I think it was plate M65.

As you can see on my pinkie, I´m just not perfect at stamping, never will be, haha.

Enjoy your day!

Chi Chi Moondust + Fairy Dust

Goodmorning ladies!!

I almost forgot to put a post online today. I´m a bit behind on swatching since I´ve been so busy. Hopefully that will change soon.

Today I´ve got Chi Chi Moondust topped with China Glaze Fairy Dust. In the sun it was so sparkly!! But somehow I didn´t make pictures in the sun. Don´t know why I was so stupid to forget taking sun pictures, but ok, there´s nothing I can do about that now.

Chi Chi Moondust is a navy polish with purple and silver glitter in it. Beautiful!! It isn´t totally visible after applying Fairy Dust, but you can still see it in some angles.

This is 2 coats of Moondust + 1 coat of Fairy Dust

Shit, Blogger does really dull pictures. These were actually pretty cool pictures, but nothing is left of it. If anyone has a solution for this problem, please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by!

Comparison between 2 green jelly´s with glitter

Goodmorning!

Another monday, damn, time flies. Today I´m showing you the comparison I promised last week.

When applying Finger Paints Mistletoe Mischief it reminded me a lot of China Glaze Emerald Sparkle. So of course I wanted to put them side by side on my nails. I used 3 coats for each of them. I think Mistletoe Mischief is a little more jelly and that makes it less opaque. Application was fine on both of them.

Let´s have a look at the pictures.

Middle and pinkie = Emerald Sparkle
Index and ring = Mistletoe Mischief

A 4th coat on Mistletoe Mischief would have probably made them dupes. But now you do see some difference, mainly in opacity. The colors are pretty much the same and the glitter too. I think Emerald Sparkle will stay my favorite because it´s more opaque. Less is more, haha.

Maybe you ladies can help me out. I´m looking for a green with holo glitter. Something like ChG Atlantis, but more and darker green. Any of you have an idea? Especially for something easy to find. Funky Fingers Blitzen is very nice (and on my wishlist) but hard to find for me since I live in the Netherlands. And I would like something darker than Blitzen. So maybe like Emerald Sparkle, but with holo glitter. I don´t mind if it´s chunky glitter or small glitter. Or maybe someone likes to franken something like that??? :D

Have a nice day!

Precision Twilight

Hello!!

When my swap pal told me she had a dupe for China Glaze Grape Crush for me, I was really excited! Have been looking for Grape Crush for like forever and can´t find it. I have seen it on eBay some times, but always for at least 25 dollars or it was a seller that didn´t want to ship to the Netherlands. But now I have a dupe, although I don´t have the real deal to compare it with. But I´m very happy with it.

Precision Twilight is a grape purple with holo micro glitter. Of course it was horrible for me to catch it on camera, but I did what I could to make it appear a bit. Application was good, absolutely no complaints there.

Here are the pics. 2 coats of Twilight.

Love! Ok, use your imagination for the glitter. All the glitter parts you see are holographic. And excuse my horrible skin and cuticles, I was swatching and with all the remover my hands start hating me.
I actually had never heard of this brand before and haven´t found swatches of any of their other colors either. Do any of you know any other pretty colors from this brand?

Thanks for watching!
