Gosh Holographic for stamping!

Hi ladies!

Today I've got some konad for you with one of my favorite patterns (together with the rose pattern). For my base color I used China Glaze Branding Iron. This is a deep dark red, very pretty. I'm not really into red at all, but this very deep shade I like very much. And opaque in just 1 coat. Win!
For stamping I used Gosh Holographic. I have tried China Glaze OMG for stamping before, but I wasn't all that impressed. Holographic is just a lot more holo so a lot better for stamping too.

Here are the pictures.

On the first pic (daylight with a little bit of sun) the holo is really visible. And you can also see I didn't use topcoat, haha. This was the morning after I applied it and you can see that some part of the stamp was gone. You should definitely enlarge the first pic.
The second was taken right after I applied it and under a lamp.

And here's a pic of Branding Iron on its own

Well, that's all for today. Thank you for stopping by!

LeChat Simply You

Hi ladies!

I want to start with apologizing to all of you. I promised you a giveaway and it's still not here. The problem is that I ordered something at Transdesign which actually was here on wednesday, but I wasn't at home to receive the package. A while ago the big post office closed and package that can't be delivered go to a super markete where you can pick them up. The thing is that the ladies who work there make a mess of all the packages and never seem to find anything. They say it's the mistake of the delivery guy, but I never had trouble when they still brought the packages to the post office, so I'm sure it's the unfriendly and messy ladies from the supermarket who are to blame. Well, I am sorry it takes so long, but at least you know now why. Please be patient, hopefully I'll have it listed on monday.

Today I´ve got something very special. Well, that means, in my opinion it is special. I had never heard about this brand (LeChat). The color can be described best as Urban Decay Bruise, but instead of the green shimmer, it is a blue shimmer. And since I didn´t have anything like that in my stash yet and also not the brand, it is special to me. Thanks Cat for getting me this!

It is a bit sheer though and probably would be better with an extra layer, but I was afraid it would get too dark then, so I decided to be satisfied with 3 coats. It dried really really fast and the formula wasn´t runny, so I´m happy, eventhough it´s a 3 coater.

Here she is. First 2 pictures in artificial light, second 2 pics in daylight (no sun)

So, it is a wine red/purple color with a blue flash. Pretty awesome, right?!

Do any of you know any other cool colors from LeChat that I should get? And maybe an idea what the best place is to get them from?

Thanks for watching and enjoy your weekend!

Finger Paints Hue Rang + flakies

Hi guys!

Remember I showed you Hue Rang a few days ago? Well, you know I almost always try to do something extra with a polish with a topcoat when I just don´t have to time to change my entire mani. So my good pal Gosh Rainbow had to do the trick once again.

Here are the pictures of 1 coat Hue Rang and 1 coat Rainbow.

I really like the combo of the purple/lavender shade and the rainbow flakies! This will be on re-run this summer :-)

Thanks for stopping by!

Sephora by OPI Looks Like Rain Dear

Goodmorning!

When Carla asked if any of the ladies on a dutch nail board wanted to do a grouporder for Sephora by OPI polishes, I immediately emailed her. Great!! Thank you so much Carla for doing this!
I ordered 4 of them and they are awesome!
Today I´m showing you Looks Like Rain Dear, wich is a gold glitter with some holo glitter. Very nice! The formula was a bit thick, but at the same time I got this glitter polish opaque in just 2 coats and it dried fast.

Here are my pictures.

Do you like it? I do!!

What´s your favorite SOPI shade?? I think mine is still SOPI 212, because it´s so unique.

Enjoy your day!

Across The Universe vs Lady Sings The Blues

Hello!

As promised last sunday I´ve got the comparison of 2 Lippmanns for you today. I´ve been searchind for this comparison a long time but couldn´t find them. Of course I knew they are different, but I couldn´t decide which one I like better. I think the best way to decide that is by seeing them side by side. So if any of you ladies want to choose between these 2 beauties, stay tuned!

Here´s the picture. Only one, because the weather wasn´t sunny so I didn´t manage to make more decent pictures.

Excuse the horrible skin and cuticles...

Index and ring = Lady Sings The Blues
Middle and pinkie = Across The Universe

They both have glitter and hex glitter. ATU in blue and green/teal and LSTB in blue and silver. Their base colors look very similar, but ATU is less ink if you understand what I mean. The base is also different in finish, ATU is a sheer jelly and needs at least 3 coats (which I did in the pictures) and LSTB seems like a creme base, but dried matte and is almost opaque in 1 coat (but I used 2 for the swatch). Since LSTB dried matte I used a topcoat for this swatch. Application was very good on both of them, the brush is great! No clean up at all!!

Normally I´m not a huge fan of hex glitter, but I really like both shades. Even after seeing them side by side I´m still not sure if I can decide which one is the best. I think I like Lady Sings The Blues a teeny tiny bit better.

Which of these 2 is your favorite?

Thanks for watching!
