Hello!
Today is day number one of my purple week. I got a few comments on my request whether you like a theme week of purples and they were all positive.
The day I was swatching for this theme week there wasn´t any sun, so I really hope the pictures turned out ok.
First up is RBL Scrangie. I have been wanting this for a long long time. And then a lady from a dutch nailboard decided to do a grouporder from RBL. Yes! Finally! And it really is special!! It´s a light purple with a blue/green flash to it. In my pictures you hardly see the purple unfortunately, but I did my best. Took about 20 pictures and still I wasn´t totally satisfied.
Scrangie needed 2 coats, but for a full manicure a third coat would probably be better.
First picture was taken in daylight, the other one in artificial light.
Isn´t it awesome?! It was definitely worth the waiting!

Well, the competition went pretty well. She ended 6th. She did get enough points to go on to the next level, so that´s great. As always when she has a competition with rythmic gymnastics or horseback riding, I was very very very proud of her!!

Tomorrow I´ll start with my purple week. Every single day of next week I´ll be giving you something purple. I do have a lot more than what I´m showing you, but most of them have been on here already. It´s going very well. The amount of followers has almost doubled last week, I´m so happy! And I wanted to let you know that I´m already planning another giveaway. I´m not sure if it will be for 100 followers or maybe a holiday giveaway or something, but it is going to be a nice one as well. I´ve got cremes, glitters and foils waiting here for you.

Are you all enjoying your sunday? This afternoon my daughter has a horseback riding competition. I hope she´ll do well. She has to get 210 points to go on to the next level. So far she has never failed, so I have high hopes, eventhough it gets more difficult each time. And of course she loves taking home prizes, so I´m keeping my fingers crossed she will get the first or second prize.
Since she has a little cold and a sore throat and her muscles in her arms are a little sore from bowling and gymnastics yesterday, I´m not completely sure she´s strong enough to do this today, so please send some positive energy to her :-)
Today I´m showing you one of my layering experiments. I was actually planning something else, but I just couldn´t find the time. This mani was a NOTD of a few weeks ago that I hadn´t shown you yet.
I used Orly Cashmere Cardigan as my base and layered OPI Sugarplum Yum on top of it. Both 1 coat. I really like both brands. Smooth and easy to work with. I think Sugarplum Yum will be nice over black or another dark color too, I´ll show you that someday as well.
It´s a little too sweet for me I guess. I´m more of a dark color person. But I do like to vary every now and then. And I do like the colors.

Today I´d like to show you one of my favorite OPI ds polishes, DS Glamour. It´s a midtoned blue with gorgeous holo. I absolutely love it! It´s smooth and only 2 coats for opacity.
I swatched this on a sunny day a few weeks ago.

Don´t you just love this one? Do you have a favorite DS polish? Besides this I also really like Diamond, Desire, Fantasy, Magic and Original (and I might have forgotten a few)

A few days ago I showed you Ozotic 27. After wearing it for half a day I wanted to do something extra. I mean, the sun was shining and I needed to take advantage of that. So I pulled out one of the amazing multichromes Ozotic has, number 504. It flashes gold, pink, purple and blue. Love it!
So on top of Ozotic 27 I applied 2 coats of 504. Here´s the result.
What can I say? I don´t think I´ll ever get bored or tired by these kind of polishes. With this on my nails I can stare at them all day to see what other hidden colors are in there. The effects in the sun are so different from the shade. And under a lamp you get other colors as well.
